Business Analyst

We're looking for passionate leaders to join our proven team as Business Analysts based in Mumbai, India.

• You will work with a diverse team of former investment bankers, strategy consultants, and business owners in developing, monitoring, and improving products to facilitate the activity of private investing

Roles & Responsibilities

• Work with the B. I team in developing informative repeatable reporting, data monitoring, hygiene (e.g. validation), and other strategies that help uncover gaps, highlight relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement

• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator between parties.

• Translate requirements into technical specifications for data and reporting teams and, conversely, technical approaches into easily digestible insights.

• Strong team player who can build strong working relationships, and collaborate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams, and levels of leadership, including product, marketing, engineering, and investment teams.

• Gather, develop, coordinate, and maintain business requirements for various projects and/or systems from the initial phase to final implementation, assuring requirements meet standards.

• Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.

• Creating informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.




Skills & Experience Required

• Preferably having a master's in business or finance fields.

• 2 years of work experience working as a Business Analyst.

• Previous work in a financial company is helpful.

• SQL, Excel, Dashboarding

• Excellent presentation skills

• Proactive, self-driven individual with a strong support/service attitude.

• Proficiency in MS excel. Strong conceptual understanding of data modeling and testing environment

• Innovative mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools

• Strong experience in writing SQL queries.




The Ideal Candidate Should Be

• Interested in dealing with data, including finding, and exploring more efficient ways/programs to collect, store, and analyze data.

• Preferably have some understanding of terms in financial statements and financial ratios

• Strong problem-solving skills – able to find various ways to solve problems and decide which solution to move forward

• Ability to work under pressure and tight timings

• Team-oriented, but highly independent in their own projects

• High level of organizational skills and ability to prioritize
